Start here if you are not in STEMX yet. You fill out a short form and your chapter officers take it from there. No account needed, and nothing to pay to apply.

Every chapter that exists started because a student decided to run one. If there is no STEMX at your school, that is the opening, not the obstacle.

You bring the students and whatever your school requires of a club. We bring the structure, the program material, and officers who have already done it once and can tell you what went wrong.

Straight answers

Joining makes you a member of the club — that happens through the application form and your chapter officers. Creating an account gives you a login for the member workspace, and it only works if an officer has already given you the class code. Making an account does not sign you up for anything on its own.

No. There are no prerequisites and no minimum grades. The tracks are built for students who have not done this before — that is the entire point of the organization.

From your chapter officers, usually at a meeting. It is the same code for everyone in the chapter, and it changes periodically. If you do not have one yet, you probably need to apply as a member first.

Ask a chapter officer. Accounts are username-only with no email attached, so there is no automatic reset link — an officer sets a temporary password for you and the site makes you change it the next time you sign in.

Yes. Members are not locked into one. Plenty of people show up for both, and moving between them mid-year is normal.
